Viking Neptune being berthed at SLPA’s Passenger Terminal
The Norwegian-owned Viking Cruise line’s “Viking Neptune” super luxury cruise ship recently called at the Port of Colombo (POC), marking a significant occasion. With 847 passengers on board, the vessel made Colombo an ideal destination for her passengers to visit several parts of the island.

The last port of call for the vessel was Penang, Malaysia, with Cochin, India, being the next port of call. Lanka Shipping & Logistics (Pvt) Ltd acts as the local agent for the vessel. Plaques were exchanged between Sri Lanka Ports Authority’s Chairman, Keith D Bernard, and the vessel’s Master, Capt. Lars Juel, onboard the vessel to mark her first call at the POC.
