President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has stated that he will not interfere in any way with the investigations being carried out by the police.
The President said that the police have been given full authority to arrest individuals and conduct investigations.
The police have also resumed investigations into the Easter attacks and other cases that had been abandoned in the past.
The President stated this while addressing a public meeting held in Homagama yesterday (25).
