Woman kidnaps and assaults another for having affair with her husband

A woman kidnapped and assaulted a 29-year-old woman and abandoned her in a jungle after taking her in a three-wheeler for about 15 km, for having an affair with her husband. She had done this along with her two female friends, last Monday (8). The victim is a resident of Mahaoya and she is said to be addicted to gambling and had taken money from her paramour to spend on gambling, police said.

The woman has been admitted to the Mahaoya Hospital with minor injuries. Police are investigating.
