Kadana Police has arrested four persons including a young woman for abducting and beating and torturing a person who defrauded Rs.1.3 million from the young woman after promising to find employment in France.
The abducted person is a 36-year-old man, a resident of Nagoda Church Road, Kadana.
Police say that this person has taken Rs.1.3 million from the 28-year-old woman promising to send her to work in France.
Police say that she informed some of her relatives about it and they banded themselves and abducted and assaulted the man demanding the money taken from her on Sunday(27).
Police said that the victim’s mother was shown her son being assaulted on the phone and she had complained to the police.
Police who conducted an investigation had arrested the woman and her group.
