The World Tourism Day 2024 on the theme Tourism and Peace by UNWTO organised by Chamber of Tourism & Industry – Sri Lanka was celebrated in a grandeur manner with the participation of a large number of foreigners and the local tourism enthusiasts
The programme held under guidance of A.M. Jaufer President Chamber of Tourism & Industry-Sri Lanka was held at Roccoos Hotel in Arugambay under the chairmanship of the Coordinator Chamber of Tourism and Industry – Sri Lanka. A. Musamil who is also the President of Auto Association
The highlights of the ceremony was issuing of Certificates to Life-Guards of STF and Police in appreciation of their Services in addition Sri Lanka Tea Board gifted them and the visiting Tourists with Tea bags, as well as to the Tourism service operators in the area who were also appreciated at this event.
OIC STF Arugambay H.N. Premarathna, OIC Arugambay Tourist Police Malinga, Atham Sailm of NPP Organiser Pottuvil, H.M Imam participated in this ceremony.
