Visited house in Negombo on eve of Easter
Kochchikade Police arrested the sister of Fatima Hadiya, the wife of the mastermind of the Easter Sunday terror attack, Zaharan Hashim and her husband when they suspiciously visited a house in Porutota, Negombo, Saturday (8) night.
A senior police officer said that the couple was arrested later after local residents complained that they were worried about their visit on the eve of the Easter Sunday. Investigations revealed that the couple had come to a relative’s house. Police say they arrested the couple fearing a tense situation.
They have been remanded till April 20 after being produced before the Negombo Court.
