Cash and laptop stolen from Medical Officer’s house

Thieves broke into the house of a Medical officer attached to the Kilinochchi Health Medical Officer’s office on Wednesday (28) and stole a laptop computer and Rs.750,000 in cash.

The Kilinochchi Police say that the thieves entered the official residence of the Medical Superintendent by breaking the front door and stole the laptop from a room and Rs. 750,000 in cash hidden behind a bookshelf.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Kilinochchi Police is conducting further investigations.
