Central Bank Announcement on Foreign Remittances

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the amount of foreign labor remittances received by Sri Lanka in May 2023 is US$ 479.7 million. The CBSL further stated that the total amount of foreign remittances received from January to May was US$ 2,346.9 million.
