Changes to several Ministry legal frameworks gazetted

A new gazette notification has been issued amending the institutional and legal framework pertaining to several ministries. President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has made these amendments with effect from yesterday (17).

Accordingly, the institutional and legal framework of the Ministry of Mass Media, the Ministry of External Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the State Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation and the State Ministry of Defence and Disaster Management have been revised.
