DP Education IT Campus Project: AI and Robotics Six-month Courses
Dhammika Perera, Founder of DP Education IT Campus Project, said that the opportunity can be created by learning artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics courses in six months from the network of universities that have been started to turn unemployed graduates into highly paid personnel without being a burden to the country.
He mentioned this at the inauguration of the 60th centre of the DP Education IT Campus project at the Gampola Pussella Sri Manthindaramaya Temple in the Uda Palatha Divisional Secretariat of the Kandy district yesterday.
Perera who further commented there said that no country has developed without education as education is the only way to achieve sustainable and long-lasting development goals.
“If the country is to develop, education should be provided. That education should be compatible with the modern world and should be capable of providing plenty of job opportunities. That is what we are starting now. Unemployed graduates should not be a burden to the government or the country. They can get high job opportunities in the IT sector by giving them full AI coding and English language training in six months,” he said.
We started this programme to create employments for one million youth. These jobs are high paying jobs and moreover these jobs can earn dollars. We are asking the unemployed graduates to join us for that opportunity free of charge,” he further said.
