Glagedera CC and Old Rajans SC victorious

Kandy District Cricket Association – Super Tournament II games took place recently. In one game Glagedera CC beat Madawala CC by six wickets and in the other game Old Rajans SC beat Old Trinitians SC by 12 runs.

Glagedera CC beat Madawala CC by six wickets in a Kandy District Cricket Association – Division III Tournament game played at the Pallekelle Prison grounds. Madawela CC bating first scored 184 runs in 33.1 over’s with M. Imran 37 and M. Naleen 27, Chamika Bandara took 3 for 46 and in reply Glagedera CC scored the necessary 287 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 36 over’s, Danupa Kodikara was 57 not out, Bashtitha Keshan 47.

Old Rajans SC beat Old Trinitians SC by 12 runs at Laaake View grounds. Old Rajans SC batting first scored 128 runs in 33.3 overs. Isuru Perera 28, Praveen Theekshana 24 and three wicketrs each by Wathila Udara and Layave Liyanagama. In reply Old Trintians SC scored 116 in 32.3 overs. Puleesha Thjilakrthne 27, Dakshitha Manukapal took four and Dulara Bandulasena took three wickets.
