Loss making SOEs need restructuring – Sajith

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa yesterday stressed the importance of restructuring and reforming   loss-making government entities. Addressing a public meeting in Borella, Premadasa said that the loss making institutions should be restructured and reformed.“We are not prepared to privatize state ventures which are making profits The government is on the hunt for MPs to make these dreams a reality,” he said.

Premadasa said that his Party does not have frogs who join the government by betraying the Party.

“I am confident that none of SJB members will betray the party and the people who brought them to parliament,”he said. He said that those in the SLPP who had allegedly robbed the public funds will be brought to book under his government.
