Main suspect in Borella murder arrested

The main suspect in a murder case where a person was hacked to death in the Sirisara Uyana housing complex in Borella surrendered to the Borella Police with the two machetes that were used for the murder. The murder had taken place on May 15. A group of four persons had come to the apartment complex and committed the murder.

The arrested suspect is a 23-year-old resident of Borella Siwalipura.

Since the day of the murder, the Borella Police and the Police Special Task Force launched operations continuously in the Borella Police area to find the murderers. Although many people were arrested with swords and daggers, the main suspect was not caught by the police until now.
