Robbers break into science lab in Maligawatte

Maligawatta police have launched an investigation into the incident of breaking into the Science Laboratory of the Sir Baron Jayatilake College in Maligawatte and stealing several valuable items from the laboratory.

According to a complaint lodged by the Principal of the school, it is suspected that this incident has happened between February 19 and 22, police said.

The thieves had entered the laboratory through a window and have stolen 100 grams of copper wire,100 grams of Led Sheets, a Barometer and several other items.

This school is located very close to the Maligawatte police station.
