Sajith no match for President’s astuteness – Harrison

Former Minister P. Harrison yesterday said that it was President Ranil Wickremesinghe who provided relief to the people who were going through difficult times and some even died in fuel and gas queues. He was speaking at the UNP Negombo Bala Mandala meeting.

He said Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa today was trying to hoodwink the people by saying there are many international entities who are willing to help him.

“Premadasa says that there are many people who are willing to help him internationally.

He says that they are willing to give him fuel if he comes to power.

If he had such connections he should have used them when people were dying in fuel queues. If that was the case, today those people would worship Sajith Premadasa as the one who saved them. He is just trying to fish in muddy waters” Harrison said.

He said that the President has proven that he is the most suitable person to govern the country and should be the Presidential candidate in the next election.
