Sampath Bank teams compete at Inter branch Quiz 2023

Sampath Bank organised its Inter Branch/Department Quiz Competition at Monarch Imperial on April 29, after a lapse of three years due to the pandemic and economic crisis.

Organised by the Sampath Bank Sports Club, the event was graced by the Managing Director and several other members of the bank’s corporate management team.

A total of over 150 teams comprising of 800 staff members participated enthusiastically in the Quiz, pitting their knowledge against each other in ten rigorous rounds of quizzing that covered various topics. The mood was festive and full of camaraderie and fellowship as teams from various branches got the opportunity to bond amidst an environment of healthy sportsmanship.

Trade Services ‘A’ Team was hailed as the overall champions while Card Centre ‘A’ Team was the runner up. In the Outstation category, Ingiriya Branch Team emerged winners while Karapitiya Branch Team was awarded runner-up. In the Difficult station category, Embilipitiya Branch team was the winner while Neluwa Branch Team came in as the runner up.
