Heat index, the temperature felt on human body is expected to increase up to ‘Caution’ level at some places in North-western and North-central provinces and Gampaha, Colombo, Hambantota and Trincomalee Districts, the Department of Meteorology warned.
The heat index is expected to increase up to 39°C-45°C in some parts of the country.
