65-hour water cut in an around Kandy

The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced that

A 65-hour water cut will be imposed to several areas in an around Kandy from 1.00 a.m. on September 28 to 6.00 p.m. on September 30, due to urgent maintenance activities of the Polgolla Reservoir.

Accordingly, the water supply to Kandy Municipal Council area and areas belonging to Harispattuwa, Pujapitiya, Pathadumbara and Akurana water supply systems, Rajawella, Sirimalwatta, Ampitiya, Amunugama, Hantana and Walala areas which belong to the Kundasale Divisional Secretariat division will be temporarily suspended.
