900 Scholarships for children of low-income families

The ‘Damsaviya International Foundation’ (DIF) recently awarded 900 Scholarships to children from low-income families in the Kothmale Education Zone, Central Province (CP), to support their development in education, attitude and skills. Central Province Governor Lalith U. Gamage, Central Province Education Secretary, Menaka Herath and DIF Chairman Thusara Gunathilake graced the occasion. Over 2,000 people including Scholarship recipients, their parents, teachers and CP education authorities were in attendance.
