Arrested after shooting himself in the foot

An individual who shot himself in the foot has been admitted to the Dambulla Hospital, Laggala Police said.

Police said the man was taken into Police custody on Wednesday.

According to the Police, the suspect had shot himself in the foot with his own pistol. The Police suspect the man who is a resident of Hatthota Amuna, Morathenna to be a drug addict.
