Check gully air pressure – Magistrate

Colombo Additional Magistrate Sampath Jayawardena has ordered the Government Analyst and the engineer of the Water Supply and Drainage Board to investigate and report to the court whether there is an air pressuresituation in the gully where the two employees of the Colombo Municipal Council fell and died.

The Magistrate made this order after Kotahena Police B reported the facts regarding the death of two employees of the Colombo Municipal Council who fell into the gully while clearing a blockage.
