Firearms maker arrested in Ingiriya

Ingiriya Police raided a place where firearms are made and arrested a suspect on the information provided by the Intelligence Division in Ingiriya.

The police seized ammunition used for T56 weapons, six mm type ammunition, one type of 2.2 ammunition, three iron pipes used for making firearms and three manna knives from the possession of this 43-year-old suspect who worked as a mechanic.

The raid was conducted in accordance with information provided by the Police Special Intelligence Bureau and the Western Provincial Intelligence Bureau.
