Monk’s laptop stolen from Namal Uyana Temple

Thieves had broken into the monks’ abode of the Namal Uyana Rajamaha Vihara Temple in Namalgama and stolen a laptop computer worth nearly Rs.400,000 belonging to a monk living there.

The monk lodged a complaint with the Bogaswewa Police about the theft. The Police said that the theft took place when the monks’ abode of the temple had been open. Police say that so far, there is no information about any suspect in connection with the theft.
