1,300 lecturers join the evaluation

The second phase evaluation of the GCE Advanaced Level answer scripts will begin today (8) at ten more centers across the country. 

An Examinations Department official said that this step will be taken to speed up the process of evaluation of answer sheets which has already started.

Professor Shyam Bannahaka, President of the Federation of University Teachers’ Association, said that according to the decision taken recently by the Executive Council of the FUTA to evaluate the answer sheets of the Advanced Level examination his organization is ready to join it whenever the Commissioner General of Examination requests.

He said that about 1,300 university lecturers will join the evaluation of the answer sheets.
