Opposition Leader condemns Pastor Jerome’s utterances

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa yesterday condemned the statements that hampers the reconciliation process. He expressed displeasure over the irresponsible statements made by Pastor Jerome Fernando  with contempt. The Opposition Leader said that he is profoundly grieved by this pastor’s statement as a person practicing Buddhism.

Since I am a practicing Buddhist, who is committed to the continuation of Buddhism and who strongly believes in pure Buddhism, I condemn this statement, he said.
