Police Life Saving Unit saves drowning youths

The Police Life Saving Unit of Mt. Lavinia saved two youths from drowning in the seas off Mt. Lavinia on Sunday afternoon. The two youths of age 16 are residents of Soyzapura, Moratuwa.

“They were also given necessary first aids by the lifesaving officers on the spot,” Police said.

Police Sergeants Thilakaratne and Mangala and Constables Upali, Pushpakumara, Dissanayake and Deshan joined the operation to save the youths.
