Man who deceived promising jobs abroad arrested

An individual who had deceived eight persons saying he would find jobs for them in Romania and collected  Rs.2.8 million was taken into custody on Wednesday (7) by the Wennappuwa Police.

Sanjeewa Fernando (35) was the person who was taken into custody, thus. The police said that he is a resident of Lansiyawatte, Chilaw.

Wennappuwa Police said this individual does not have a licence to send people and he had deceived many.
