PSD cop’s motorcycle robbed in Fort

The Pettah Police has started an investigation regarding the theft of a motorcycle at Pettah Baron Jayathilaka Mawatha,

Colombo, belonging to a police constable working in the Presidential Security Division.

The theft took place on June 26 between 8.30 am and 8 pm, when the police constable parked his motorcycle in front of the Shipping Corporation building and went on duty.

This constable is a resident of Kahathuduwa, and police say that he stopped the motorcycle at this place before this as well.

According to Pettah Police, investigations have been started according to a complaint filed last Tuesday (27) by the constable who faced the motorcycle theft.
