Thisal’s 7 wickets help St Thomas Prep to win

Thisal Dissanayake’s brilliant display of fast bowling helped St Thomas Prep (STP) to win over D S Senanayake ‘B’ in their under 17 division III tournament encounter held recently at D S grounds.

D S Senanayake captain won the toss and choose to field and St Thomas Prep scored 175 all out in 47 overs. In reply D S Senanayake ‘B’ was 45/1 in just 5 overs at lunch.

However after lunch they were bowled out for just 51 runs and managed to score only six runs by loosing remaining nine wickets. Thisal has ended up by taking 7 for 21 in his magnificent spell of 6.3 overs.
