Heroin haul from Serpentine road apartment

The Police Special Task Force has found a stash of heroin worth more than Rs. 6 million hidden in the ceiling of a community hall in Borella Serpentine apartment complex.

More than 600 grams of heroin drugs were found at the place and taken into Police custody.

The raid was carried out based on a tip-off recieved by the Organized Crime Unit of the Police Special Task Force.

Police suspect that some person involved in drug trafficking may have hidden these in the ceiling outside the community hall.

The drug stock has been handed over to the Borella Police for further investigation.
