Man sets fire to trishaw in fit of anger

The Horana Police said that a person who was angry because he found his wife inside a trishaw with her paramour, set fire to the trishaw yesterday (02) morning.

The police have also stated that the resident of the house where the three-wheeler was set ablaze, has been arrested. The police said that according to the suspect’s statements, his wife worked in a well-known garment factory in the Horana area, and she left her house early yesterday to go to work. However, the suspect found her with her paramour inside a trishaw. The police said that the couple saw the suspect coming towards them and ran away. The suspect who then got angry, set fire to the trishaw.
