Horizon Campus sports awards night, a success

Horizon Campus annual Sports Awards night was held recently at KCM Auditorium with Chance Sports Chairman and Managing director Lasantha Amarasinghe being the chief guest.

The students who excelled at the sports field received colours at this occasion which was organised by Sports Council of Horizon Campus at Malabe.

The chief guest Lasantha Amarasinghe who himself a former cricketer and ruggerite said this type of colours awards ceremonies always encourage students.

I had difficulties in my school life as well as club level at CCC. However coaches and all others gave good support to me. Students must strike a good balance between academic subjects and sports, said Amarasinghe.
