Maliyadeva meet Cambrians in quarters today

Prince of Wales College Moratuwa will meet Maliyadeva College Kurunegala in the quarter final of the Under 17 division One inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket at Campbell Place today.

Prince of Wales College Moratuwa advanced to the second round as the runner up of their group in the first round. Maliyadeva College Kurunegala advanced to the second round as the group champion in the first round.

Prince of Wales College Moratuwa beat Ananda College Colombo and Maliyadeva College Kurunegala beat Mahanam College Colombo in their second round fixtures.

Prince of Wales College Moratuwa beat St. Benedict’s College Kotahena and Maliyadeva College Kurunegala beat St. Aloysius College Galle in their pre-quarterfinal round fixtures.

Prince of Wales College Moratuwa will be led by Prince Fernando and Maliyadeva College Kurunegala will be led by Chandupa Abeysinghe.
