Three Lankans among scholars at In’t Islamic Conference

Saudi Arabia’s Islamic Religious Affairs Ministry has arranged to hold an Islamic conference on the theme ‘Establishing contact with global Islamic institutions’ today and tomorrow (12 and 13). This conference is going to be held in Makkah Mukarma. Saudi Arabia has invited 150 religious scholars from around 85 countries to attend the conference.

The conference is organised by Saudi Arabia’s Religious Affairs Ministry under the guidance of King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The contribution of Islamic institutions and the contribution of religious scholars in solving the problems of the present time will also be examined in detail. Issues such as maintaining unity among Muslims and the experiences of Saudi Arabia in propagating Islam will also be explored in this conference.
