Kanishka bags Cholan record with her Memory power

Cholan Institute of Sri Lanka Vice President Nagawani Raja with Kanishka and her family members.

Sankardas Kanishka, a student of Holy Rosary Tamil Maha Vidyalaya, Bogawanthalawa, set a world record by naming 432 internal organs of the human body memorizing them in four minutes. This student is a resident of the Ariyapura village in Bogawanthalawa. She is studying in Grade Two of the Holy Rosary Tamil Maha Vidyalaya.

Her parents had realized that she had a great memory power from her pre-school age and had made arrangements to give her books to study.

This record was overseen by Nagavani Raja, Vice President of the Sri Lanka branch of the Cholan Institute, upon a request made by Sankardas Kanishka’s parents, Thangaraj Institute to help Kanishka to establish a Cholan World Record which is operated from India.

The schoolgirl who holds the Cholan world record was congratulated by the Principal of the school and the staff and students.

Speaking to the media after the student had set a record in the Cholan World Book of Records, Nagawani Raja, Vice President of the Cholan Institute in Sri Lanka, said that his institute, which has its roots in India, operates in 26 countries.

Cholan World Record Book is maintained by his organization with the aim of identifying such talented children in all districts of the island and bringing their talents forward.
