Nine vehicles damaged by falling Bo tree branch at Borella Police Station

Three Police vehicles as well as six other vehicles parked as Court case evidence items in the Police premises grounds at the Borella Police Station were damaged when a large branch of a Bo tree within its premises broke and fell. This Bo tree is located near the new three-storied building behind the Borella Police Station. 

Borella Police said a motorcycle, a cab and a car belonging to the Police station were damaged by the fallen branch of the tree.

Police also said among the other vehicles that were damaged were a van,three trishaws and two motorcycles that were parked in the Police premises as court case items.The branch of the Bo tree fell on Tuesday, August 22.
