Five injured in hacking in Muddaragama

Pallewela Police said that a group of women were attacked on Thursday (24) night in Muddaragama area based on a women’s problem and they had hacked each other and sustained injuries. Five people, including an elderly woman, were admitted to the Gampaha and Wathupitiwala hospitals. Police said that two motorcycles were also set on fire and destroyed during the clash.According to the police, the father, son and grandmother of the same family have been admitted to the Gampaha hospital with serious injuries due to a recent clash between two houses in relation to an incident where a group of women were said to be coming to a house in Muddaragama area and on Thursday (24) the two parties clashed, hacking each other.

The police also said that two people from the other party were also injured and admitted to the Wathupitiwala Base Hospital.
