Allianz Lanka Official Travel Insurance partner for Sri Lanka Water Polo Teams

Allianz Lanka supported Sri Lanka Water Polo teams as their Official Travel Insurance Partner, during their return to the 22nd Panasonic Asia Pacific Water Polo Tournament, after a seven-year hiatus. Hosted by the Hong Kong China Swimming Association, the event was held in Hong Kong from August 11-13.

Allianz Lanka’s travel insurance products provide comprehensive insurance coverage in the event of unforeseen circumstances whilst travelling overseas.

The partnership was officially announced at a special press event held at the SSC Grounds, where Kasun Yatawara, Head of Marketing, along with other representatives from Allianz Lanka, graced the occasion.

The event served as a platform to unveil the details and expectations surrounding the Asia Pacific Water Polo Tournament. Each member of the men’s and women’s teams received travel dockets and the teams proudly donned their Allianz branded jerseys, symbolizing a unified front in their quest for victory.

This year’s Tournament featured six teams in the men’s category and four teams in the women’s category, vying for supremacy. Men’s Captain Shehan Dassanayake and Women’s Captain Samaakhya Gajanayake held the leadership reins of the Sri Lankan teams.

Both teams consisted of young and dynamic members from across the Island, united by their passion and dedication to the sport.
