A ‘Baby and Mother Care Company’, that commenced business in 2018 as a small online store run by a stay-at-home mother celebrated the opening of its showroom at Ninewells Hospital recently.
The company, initially called ‘Cute Toys and Cute Care’, was founded by Dineshika, a mother of two. She started the Company after recognizing a gap in the market for high quality baby and mother care products.
The Company’s initial stages were challenging, as Dineshika juggled her responsibilities as a young mother in running the business. However, she was determined to make her company a success. Initially, she displayed a stand with her products at Ninewells Hospital in 2019. Gradually, she focused on customer satisfaction, building a loyal customer base through exceptional service and expanding the product range to meet the diverse needs of parents and babies.
As the business continued to grow, Dineshika decided to take it to the next level, by opening a showroom on February 1, 2021, on the first floor of Ninewells Hospital. She also invested in marketing, improved the website and increased her product offerings.
In time, the company gained a reputation of being a trusted source of ‘Baby and Mother Care Products’, known for its personalized service and attention.
Eventually, Dineshika rebranded her store, changing its name to ‘Pippin’ which was launched in January 2022. In September 2023, the ‘Pippin’ store was inaugurated at the ground floor of the North Wing of Ninewells Hospital.
The opening of the showroom was a momentous occasion, attended by Ninewells Management, celebrities, loyal customers and supportive friends and family members.
Delivering a heartfelt speech, Dineshika expressed her gratitude to everyone who had supported her through this journey. She also stated about the Company’s commitment to providing the best products and service to parents and their babies.
With the successful opening, the company now looks to the future.
