Dry ration packs for low-income families

The United Sri Lanka Sri Jai Prathyangira Guru Peedam distributed dry rations among 300 low-income families as well as school bags and stationery for 100 children in Colombo city.

The event was held at the YMBA Auditorium, Borella, Colombo, recently under the patronage of S. Vinayakar Kurukkal.

Sagala Ratnayaka, Senior Adviser on National Security to the President and Chief of Presidential Staff was present as chief guest.

Saman Rathnapriya, the Director General of Trade Unions to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, former members of the Colombo Municipal Council, members of the Guru Peedam, Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian religious leaders and parents and students were present.
