Airwoman’s bike stolen near HQ

A motorcycle belonging to a member of the Air Force had been stolen from among the motorcycles of the

Air Force personnel parked on the road in front of the Air Force Base in Kompannaveediya on Tuesday (26) evening.

Police say that the TVS-NTORQ 125 type motorcycle bearing CP-BIU-2513 number has been stolen. In her complaint made to Police, the Air Force officer, a resident of Air Force quarters in Leslie Ranagala Mawatha Borella, has stated that this motorcycle is worth around Rs.500,000.
