Public Security Minister orders IGP to launch probe into resignation of Mullaitivu Magistrate

Public Security Minister Tiran Alles has ordered the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to launch a comprehensive investigation into the resignation of Mullaitivu District Judge and Magistrate, T. Saravanarajah.

The Minister instructed the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to further investigate the reasons that led to the resignation of the Judge, the Minister’s media unit said.
