Ves ceremony at Nalanda College

The ‘Ves’ ceremony was held for the eighth time by Nalanda College, Colombo, yesterday at the college grounds. Organised by the Nalanda College Dancing Section, 34 Nalanda students presented their first performance following the ‘Ves’ ceremony.

The event was held under the patronage of Kala Keerthi Dr. Ravibandhu Vidyahapathi. School Principal Eran Champika, deputy principals and assistant principals, teaching staff and parents of the students participated. The 34 students who performed yesterday were trained by dancing instructors Ganga Mendis, Suranga Botheju, Pathma Airangani, Vasantha Kumara and Navamal Jayaweera. Pictures by Nissanka Wijeratne
