Grand finale of ‘Chathurmaana’ showcases Undergraduate Talent

The grand finale of ‘Chathurmaana’, the inter-university talent competition was held on October 12, at the National Youth Centre Auditorium in Maharagama.

In a celebration of talent and ambition, the Accounting and Financial Management Association (AFMA), the student body of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, hosted ‘Chathurmaana’, the inter-university talent competition powered by L.B. Finance, with the aim of showcasing the hidden potential of Sri Lankan undergraduates.

‘Chathurmaana’, a brainchild of AFMA, is not just a competition; it is a platform designed to unveil the untapped talents of undergraduates from all 16 State universities across Sri Lanka.

The grand finale of ‘Chathurmaana’ was attended by Sri Jayewardenapura University Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Padmalal M. Manage, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce Dr. Dushan Jayawickrama, Professor of Department of Accounting Senior Professor Kennedy Gunawardena, Chief Financial Officer of the LB Finance Malith Hewage and Chairman of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (Lake House) Prof. Harendra Kariyawasam, among others.
