Police officers can be made by the public through 118 hotline number.

The Police Media Spokesman’s Office said the 118 number belongs to a special unit run by the Public Security Ministry.

It is possible to provide information, with or without informing the identity of the informant. In addition the public can inform the Police regarding various crimes that occur in the country, such as drug trafficking, using this short phone number.

The Police Media Spokesman’s Office stated that this number is in operation 24/7 and the confidentiality of the information is secure as well as the identity of those who provide information to this number.
