Deneth scores second ton for St. John’s, Panadura

Deneth Prasanga of St. John’s College Panadura made second ton in their first round fixtures of the Under 19 Limited Overs Inter School Cricket Tournament yesterday. Deneth scored 148 runs against Siri Piyarathana MMV Padukka.

Kavija Gamage of Kingswood College Kandy scored an unbeaten 120 runs against Mahinda Rajapaksa National School Homagama. Suwas Fernando of Prince of Wales’ College Moratuwa, scored an unbeaten 100 runs against St. Benedict’s College, Kotahena.

Prince of Wales’ College Moratuwa, S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia, De Mazenod College Kandana, St. John’s College Panadura, Sri Devananda College Ambalangoda, Kingswood College Kandy and St. John’s College Nugegoda emerged victorious in their matches.

Right arm paceman Vihanga Malith of Sri Devananda College Ambalangoda claimed 7 wickets for 22 runs against Taxila Central College Horana.
