CEA Chairman, two others remanded

Three persons including the Chairman of the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) have been remanded till November 16 by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.

They were arrested yesterday (10) evening by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), while allegedly soliciting a bribe of Rs. 10 million from a businessman.
