Impartial probe needed to find out who orchestrated it – Sajith

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa stated in Parliament yesterday that an investigation should be conducted to find out who went to the International Cricket Council to suspend Sri Lanka’s membership.

He also said that an impartial investigation should be carried out in this regard as  this act was an act of treachery against all Sri Lankans.

The Opposition Leader stated this while presenting his opinion during the comments regarding cricket yesterday in Parliament. He further said that the establishment of the interim committee according to the law of the country is the responsibility of the Sports Minister.
