Shepherdians shine at Iris Dunuwile de Silva Trophy Netball

Runner-up Good Shepherd Convent Over 40 netball team

Good Shepherd Convent, Kotahena clinched under 40 championship and emerged over 40 runner-up at the Iris Dunuwile de Silva Challenge Trophy Netball Tournament which was worked off at the Torrington Grounds recently. The tournament was organised by the St. Bridget Convent, Colombo 7.

In the under 40 finals Good Shepherd Convent Colombo beat Ave Maria Convent Negombo 12-9. Shepherdians displayed a superb show and defeated their opponents with ease.

In the over 40 finals Shepherdians went down to Ave Maria Convent Negombo 3- 6.
