Heed health sector advice – JVP

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Politburo member Samantha Vidyaratne said yesterday (30) that the government should act on the advice of the health sector and not on the views of political leaders.

He said that due to the oppressive programmes being carried out by the government, there is no other option but to launch people’s struggles in the future and win the demands of the people.

He said the government does not think of the common masses and even their Party membership and was looking to take political mileage out of the pandemic.
